“Palace are a living sign that good things come to those who wait.” – Clash

“Palace are one of those great bands who slot into your life like a perfectly fitted puzzle piece… This is good music: free from any constraints, hype, trendiness’ – Noisey

London based three-piece Palace today release the stunning animated video for their latest single ‘No Other’, a love letter lead singer Leo Wyndham wrote about finding love during a dark time in his life, and the hope he found from it. Directed and animated by George Wheeler (Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Loyle Carner), the video follows the adventures of Ridley, a woman exploring a luscious green planet after crash landing her rocket.

"The video reflects the song in the way it tells the story of a great and real love lifting a person out of a difficult situation, inspiring hope and new life, and showing the pathway to new places and the possibility of all that the future holds” said Palace; “It’s when you least expect it and something fateful happens that everything can change."

‘No Other’ is a strikingly candid track from a band who’ve built a loyal following for their deeply personal lyrics and bittersweet blues/indie arrangements. With a message of optimism deeply rooted throughout, ‘No Other’ follows recently released seven-minute track ‘Heaven Up There’, which marked the band’s first new music for two years and was unveiled as Lauren Laverne’s ‘headphones moment’ on BBC 6 Music. The two tracks will both feature on Palace’s sophomore album, due later this year.

Leo Wyndham, Matt Hodges and Rupert Turner have been friends since they were thirteen and released their acclaimed debut EP ‘Lost In The Night’ in 2014, followed by the ‘Chase The Light’ EP the following year and their debut album ‘So Long Forever’ in 2016. The strength of those releases saw their fanbase steadily grow, leading to extensive touring, ever-larger festival slots and culminating in a sold-out UK headline tour including London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. The band have since been busy writing and recording new music at their own studio in Tottenham, North London.

Having built a dedicated live following through mesmerising shows at some of the country’s finest venues, Palace hit the road again in February for a headline tour, with all dates already sold out.
